Monaco have taken a keen interest in Rennes forward Ousmane Dembele, according to L’Equipe.
The Principality club expect to stay without talented attacker Kylian Mbappe at the end of the season as the youngster appears to have decided to leave when his current contract expires in the summer.
And Monaco plan to replace him with another Ligue 1 starlet as they have set their sights on Rennes youngster Ousmane Dembele.
The left winger is another premium product of club’s youth academy and he has been in excellent form this season, scoring 5 goals and setting up another 2 in 14 league outings.
His impressive performances clearly did not go unnoticed as Arsenal are also among clubs showing interest in his services, although Monaco appear to be leading the chase at the moment.
The Principality club have recruited a host of talented footballers last summer and they want to add Dembele to the group at the end of the season.
