Monaco linked to Juan Iturbe

Radio Monte Carlo has learned that Monaco are keeping close tabs on FC Porto attacker Juan Manuel Iturbe.

The youngster is likely to be one of the hottest commodities in the summer transfer window having largely impressed while on loan at Hellas Verona.

A host of Europe’s top clubs have shown interest in his services and RMC reports that Monaco are in the mix as well.

The French giants were reportedly offered a chance to sign the Argentine through his agents, but they instead plan to wait until the season ends before making their move.

It is widely believed that Hellas Verona will exercise the option to purchase his contract for €15 million before selling him on for profit.

Juan Manuel Iturbe has been earning rave reviews for his performances in Serie A this season, with the 20-year-old having managed 6 goals and 4 assists in 30 league outings for the Gialloblu.
