Ligue 1 high flyers Monaco have made an official proposal for Lazio forward Balde Diao Keita, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Principality club seem determined to lure the highly rated footballer to Stadio Olimpico in the summer transfer window, and they have now made an official offer for his services.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that Monaco have started the bidding at €25 million, but Lazio are reportedly holding out for €35 million seeing that they value the 21-year-old highly.
Keita is widely regarded as one of the brightest talents to have come out of club’s youth academy since Alessandro Nesta, and he has already shown a great deal of potential at senior level.
The forward has so far made 79 league outings for the Biancocelesti, scoring 10 goals in the process, while it is important to note that the player had joined Lazio from Barcelona.
