AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao 11/10 to join Manchester City on deadline day

Manchester City are having somewhat of a striker crisis due to injury problems plaguing their attack that could lead the Sky Blues to sign AS Monaco‘s Radamel Falcao.

City manager Manuel Pellegrini has Edin Dzeko, Stevan Jovetic, Alvaro Negredo and Sergio Aguero, but the latter duo are having injury troubles, while Jovetic also has a history of missing a host of games per season too.

Betfair are giving odds of 11/10 for the Colombian striker to join Manchester City, but La Liga giants Real Madrid are also in the running for him. Falcao has proven himself a top-class European striker in the last few seasons which has led to such interest in his signature.

Monaco missed out on the title last season, and they’ve started this campaign poorly too, which could lead Falcao to seek pastures anew.

He signed for the French Ligue One side for around £50M last summer, so City would be forced to stump up a lot of cash. But with Pellegrini’s men having failed to score at home in their recent 1-0 defeat to Stoke, there is a chance they bolster their attacking options tonight.
