Italy international Riccardo Montolivo insists he is happy at Fiorentina and ’has never thought about leaving’.
The 24-year-old midfielder is confident Fiorentina has a bright future and is eager to stay at the club.
“I have never thought about leaving, I want to succeed and win here, because I know that I can achieve something with these colours and we can play on a par with the top sides,†he told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We are challenging for a Champions League spot for the fourth successive season and we are growing year after year.
“It would be wonderful to help Fiorentina win their third Scudetto. I am sure we are on the right path. It’s hard to say how long it will take, maybe five or six years, hopefully before I turn 30. I’d be too old then!â€Â
