Alvaro Morata has described fellow Real Madrid strikers Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema as the best attackers in the world.
The 20-year-old has broken into the Real first team this season, and followed his match-winning performance in the 2-1 victory over Levante with a fine outing in the 5-1 trashing of Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
Morata says he tries to model his game after Benzema and Higuain, who he feels should be an example to young players.
“El Pipita (Higuain) and Benzema are the best strikers in the world. I watch them in games and in every training session and I learn a lot,” the forward told AS.
“Every time I play I will give everything and I thank the people who came and encouraged me while I was on the field and supported me on social networks in recent days.”
Morata has made five appearances for Real Madrid’s first team this season, scoring one goal.
