Inter president Massimo Moratti admits he is looking forward to see new signing Ricardo Quaresma make his Serie A debut.
“We’ll see Quaresma begin his adventure and everyone is waiting to see how he does,†Moratti told Sky Italia.
“He is certainly a talented player and I hope he can express that on the pitch, especially as he has the quality teammates to help him give his best.
“I got the feeling from viewing training that the players are all fairly fired up. The important thing is for them to maintain that level of intensity throughout the match.â€Â
Quaresma could make his debut against Catania tonight.
The match against Catania will also see the return of Inter legend, now Catania coach, Walter Zenga to the San Siro.
Moratti continued: “It is a rapport with a person who cares about Inter and is therefore always special, although I also admire him purely as a tactician and I’m happy he has done so well for himself.
“Having said that, I hope this weekend he limits himself to merely making a good impression…â€Â
