Inter chairman Massimo Moratti is not in a rush to decide on the future of manager Andrea Stramaccioni.

Inter finished Serie A in ninth place after a 5-2 defeat to Udinese at San Siro in their last game and Moratti said he is “thinking about the best choice” in terms of Stramaccioni’s position.

“We’re still making decisions, nothing’s been done yet,” Moratti said. “There’s no rush. We’ve got time.
“On the one hand he’s a talented guy who will definitely be a success in this business, on the other we have the situation we find ourselves in. So I’m thinking about the best choice I can make.”
One man who has been linked with a move to San Siro, should Stramaccioni lose his job, is former Napoli manager Walter Mazzarri.
Having led Napoli second in the league this season, his stock is high but Moratti hinted any potential replacement would need to be more than just a good manager.
“They’re all good coaches, but then they have to work at Inter, which is something different,” he said.
