Chelsea forward Victor Moses has underlined the importance of his side making a good start in their Europa League clash with Rubin Kazan.

Chelsea hold a 3-1 aggregate lead ahead of the quarter-final second leg with Russian Premier League club Rubin at the Luzhniki Stadium, Moscow, on Thursday.

And Moses, who was on target in the first leg at Stamford Bridge, believes an early goal could kill the tie and ensure the west London club progresses to the last four.

“We’re here to try to win the game. They have good strikers and they will be in our faces from the start,” he said.

“We just need to get our noses in front and try to win the game. It won’t be an easy task but we’re looking forward to it. If we can score an early goal that will be great for us.”
