Mourinho insists Ivanovic isn’t for sale

Jose Mourinho has insisted that defender Branislav Ivanovic is not for sale following interest from Paris Saint Germain, the Express understands.

The Chelsea manager has said there has been no official approach from the Ligue 1 champions for the Serbia international, after stressing that there is ‘no chance’ he will leave this summer.

The 29 year old made fifty-seven appearances in all competitions last season, including the Europa League final where his man-of-the-match performance ended with him scoring the injury time winner against Benfica.

In his five-and-a-half years at Stamford Bridge, the defender has won six major trophies, a roll of honour which includes last year’s Champions League triumph.

Earlier this week, the former Lokomotiv Moscow man said that he would be happy for Chelsea to sign Uruguay international Luis Suarez.

The Liverpool striker is currently serving a ten match suspension for biting Ivanovic in the 2-2 draw at Anfield back in April.
