PSG Carlo Ancelotti has said the reports linking Jose Mourinho with a move to Parc des Princes are like a ‘guillotine’ over his head.
The Real Madrid coach’s future has been under speculation recently, with suggestions that he could be ready to move to the Ligue 1 side, and Ancelotti has admitted the talk does not make for the best working environment.
“[The talk of] Mourinho? Yes, it’s a guillotine over my head,” he told reporters.
“Obviously when a team starts a championship with high goals and then things go wrong, it creates instability and people criticise the coach.”
PSG have qualified for the knockout stages of the Champions League, finishing top of Group A after beating Porto 2-1 at Parc des Princes on Tuesday.
However, they are currently five points off Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Lyonnais and sit in fourth place.
