Mourinho watches Yarmolenko

Catalan daily newspaper Sport has suggested that Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is keen on luring Dynamo Kiev attacker Andriy Yarmolenko to Stamford Bridge.

The Portuguese coach was present as Ukraine faced Spain yesterday evening and chances are he was impressed with the performance of his target as the 25-year-old was a real nuisance for La Furia Roja defenders.

According to Sport, Mourinho is eager to add the highly rated footballer to his ranks in January, and the €20 million asking price is unlikely to be a problem.

It is believed that Barcelona, Arsenal and Everton are also showing interest in the Ukraine hotshot, who should be leaving Dynamo Kiev for greener pastures in the near future.

Yarmolenko has been a key player for both club and country for several years now, but he has so far resisted temptation to join a top European side.

The player, who has less than a year left on his contract, has managed impressive 103 goals and 71 assists in 274 competitive outings for the Ukrainian giants.
