England coach Fabio Capello will be in the stands at the Stadio San Siro tonight to watch the fixture between Milan and Genoa, particularly to keeping an eye on David Beckham. The former Juventus and Roma trainer was a guest on Italia 1 show ‘Chiambretti Night’ and spoke out about a number of topics ranging from Jose Mourinho to Milan policies on the transfer market.

“Mourinho’s squad still seems a work in progress after six months,” he noted. “He has realised that Italian coaches are very well prepared and can cause him problems. You cannot make comparisons with Mancini’s Inter, as they won the title for two years without any rivals and only found a great contender in Roma last term”.

On Beckham: “David is in good shape and is working hard at Milan. Adriano Galliani asked me for advice before bringing him in and I told him he was a wonderful professional”, concluded Capello.
