David Moyes is sweating on the fitness of Darron Gibson and Phil Jagielka ahead of Everton’s fixture with Fulham on Saturday.
Gibson only managed 45 minutes in the 1-0 defeat to Sunderland last weekend, while Jagielka missed the trip completely after suffering an ankle injury in the recent 0-0 draw with Arsenal.
The Scot could also have Victor Anichebe available, with the forward hopeful of recovering from a hamstring injury picked up in the latter stages against Sunderland.
“Darron’s got a chance,” Moyes said.
“Phil Jagielka’s got a chance as well, so we’ll be close to having a full squad to choose from. I’m not sure if they’re quite right yet but I’ll assess that and make a decision closer to kick-off time.
“Victor had a bit of a hamstring problem at the end of the game and he felt it tightening up. It’s not as bad as we thought but we couldn’t take any chances.
“We are getting close to full strength and hopefully we will not be too far away from that.”
Tony Hibbert is also nearing a return to the first-team fold. The full-back has been out of action since injuring his calf in December.
“Tony Hibbert has played a few reserve games now. He was out for three months after quite a severe calf operation,” he added.
“He’s not too far away and when the opportunity arises I’ll try and re-introduce him.”
