Newly promoted Bologna are about to sign Belgian midfielder Gaby Mudingayi, who would be making the move from Lazio Roma.
The 26 year old told the Gazzetta dello Sport about the imminent move: “On Friday I’ll be in Bologna. I’m in Rome now, to arrange some details. I leave with pain in my heart, but I’m happy about the transfer to Bologna.”
Mudingayi, born in DR Congo, start his professional career at KAA Gent in 2000 and left to Italy to join Torino FC four years later.
In the last three seasons at Lazio, Mudingayi played 61 games in which he scored once.
