Nacional of Paraguay are practically certain of a Copa Libertadores berth after beating El Nacional of Ecuador 0-5 in the qualifying round first leg on Tuesday.
All goals were scored in the last 40 minutes with Raul Roman netting the opener on 51 minutes. Jorge Nuñez added a second five minutes later and Ramon Caceres got a third in minute 71.
Nuñez scored his second in the 86th minute and Marcos Melgarejo sent a fifth past the opposing goalkeeper with two minutes left to play.
The second leg is scheduled for February sixth, and is to be played in Paraguay’s capital city http://soccerway.net/cms2/news/add.php3Asuncion.
