Nani set for Premier League return

The Daily Mail understands that Hull City are set to launch an assault on Valencia winger Nani.

The Tigers hope to make few more quality signings before the transfer window closes and their new boss Marco Silva wants to get reunited with his compatriot.

The pair previously enjoyed very good cooperation at Sporting CP during the 2014/2015 season, when Nani bagged 7 goals in 27 league outings.

Following the successful spell with Fenerbahce, the winger went on to join Valencia last summer, but has since only registered two goals in 15 La Liga games.

Hull City now need to try and agree a transfer fee with los Che and also persuade the player to move back to England, where he does have some unfinished business having never quite managed to prove his worth at Old Trafford.

The Tigers currently sit two points adrift of safety and they can be backed at 3/1 not to get relegated.
