The Daily Express is today reporting that Manchester United winger Nani could be on his way out of the club in the summer.
Nani failed to make the squad for the Champions League match with Real Madrid on Wednesday evening and it doesn’t seem as though he is in Sir Alex Ferguson’s plans for the campaign.
With Wilfried Zaha arriving at the end of the English Premier League season, it might mean the Portuguese is shown the exit door.
Nani nearly completed a move to Russian big-spender Zenit St Petersburg recently, but is isn’t though he wants to play his football there as the league isn’t one of the strongest in Europe.
The winger is likely to search for a move to La Liga or the Portuguese top flight, somewhere we he feels more at home.
There is no doubt that he is a very good player that is more than capable of playing at the highest level, but things just aren’t working out for him at United at the moment and at this stage of his career, he has to be playing football.
It is a very interesting story to keep an eye over the next few months.
