Napoli attacker Marek Hamsik believes Juventus are out of reach for his side after their disappointing results throughout December.
The Stadio San Paolo side have dropped to fifth place in the Serie A after defeats against Inter Milan and Bologna.
They were also docked two points for their involvement in a match-fixing scandal, leaving them 10 points behind the league leaders and defending champions.
“Juventus appear to be on their way to their second consecutive Scudetto. They are simply the strongest team and have been showing that for two years now,” Hamsik told Il Mattino.
“Making it into the Champions League is now our goal. All the teams fighting for it are very close to each other and only separated by a few points.
“Nothing has really changed for us. Our objective remains to finish as high as possible in the standings. The season is still long.”
