Il Corriere dello Sport is reporting that Napoli are on the verge of agreeing a deal for Swansea forward Michu.
Rafael Benitez is a big fan of the player and he has instructed club officials to try and bring him to Stadio San Paolo this summer.
And it appears the Spaniard will succeed in his quest as the agreement between the two sides is on the horizon.
Swansea seem ready to accept Napoli’s latest offer of a season-long loan that would also give the Azzurri a chance to make the move permanent for €9 million.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the transfer should be wrapped up in the next 24 hours, allowing Michu to sign for the Serie A giants.
The Spaniard has proved to be a real bargain buy for the Swans, having bagged 20 goals in 52 Premier League matches after arriving in a €2.6 million deal from Rayo Vallecano.
