Napoli eyeing Fellaini loan move

Napoli are lining up a loan move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to the Mail Online.

The Belgium international endured a tough first season at Old Trafford last year, making just sixteen starts in all competitions before turning out for his country at this summer’s World Cup finals in Brazil.

Napoli boss Rafael Benitez is keen to take the 26 year old on a temporary deal though the Serie A side, who finished third in the league last season, will have to cover his £100,000-per-week wages.

New United boss Louis van Gaal is willing to part company with the former Everton man, while fellow bit-part players Anderson, Nani, Wilfried Zaha and Shinji Kagawa could also be on their way out of the club.

Manchester United begin the forthcoming campaign at home to Swansea City two weeks on Saturday, and the home win can be backed at a price of 2/5.
