Napoli join chase for Kwadwo Asamoah

La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Napoli are hot on the trail of soon-to-be free agent Kwadwo Asamoah.

The highly rated footballer will be out of contract in the summer and it looks as though he will not be extending his stay in Turin.

Capable of operating as a central midfielder or left-back, Asamoah has emerged as a top target for Inter Milan, but Napoli seem keen as well.

With first-choice left-back Faouzi Ghoulam still struggling through injury, the Azzurri are looking to offer the Ghanaian a contract.

Kwadwo Asamoah has mostly been playing second fiddle at Juventus, but still amassed 110 Serie A appearances in almost six years in Turin.
