Italian daily Il Corriere dello Sport has revealed that Napoli are looking at a number of high-profile defenders at the moment.
Despite signing Anthony Reveillere on a free transfer, the Azzurri are hoping to add another full-back to their ranks in the winter.
Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested that Genoa’s Luca Antonelli could arrive at Stadio San Paolo in January for a fee of €7 million.
Meanwhile, the Azzurri are monitoring a number of central defenders as well, seeing that captain Paolo Cannavaro appears to be nearing the exit door.
Nicolas N’Koulou, Daniel Agger, Martin Skrtel and Kurt Zouma are all on their radar, but it remains to be seen if Napoli will step up their interest in any of the aforementioned players.
The Azzurri suffered a major blow to their title ambitions as they were defeated 3-0 by Juventus, so no wonder they are now as much as 9/2 for the league trophy.
