Napoli keen on Ajax hotshot

Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Serie A giants Napoli are hot on the trail of Ajax youngster Kasper Dolberg.

The Azzurri are short of options in the final third and while they plan to add a more experienced striker to their ranks in January, the Danish starlet is seen as one for the future.

Napoli scouts are regularly watching Ajax matches as they continue to look at Davy Klaassen, and Kasper Dolberg has grabbed their attention with some scintillating performances this season.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a bright start to his career at Amsterdam ArenA, bagging 8 goals in 13 Eredivisie matches, and he has already caught the eye of top European clubs.

Dolberg had joined Ajax in the summer from Silkeborg, after making just three substitute appearances in Danish Superliga.

After they were held to four draws in last five matches, Napoli will be keen to return to winning ways against Inter Milan, and they are 3/4 to succeed in their quest.
