Serie A giants Napoli are keeping close tabs on Genk starlet Leon Bailey, Il Corriere dello Sport has suggested.
The Azzurri are in the market for attacking reinforcements and the 19-year-old footballer appears to be at the top of their hit list.
Napoli officials have been closely following his latest performances and they could make their interest concrete in the coming months.
Leon Bailey began his professional career at KRC Genk and he has already proved his worth at senior level.
The Jamaican footballer has managed 8 goals in 50 league appearances for the Belgian giants, but it was his performances in this year’s Europa League that helped him catch the eye of top European clubs.
Namely, Bailey scored impressive 7 goals in 10 outings in the Europa League, counting the qualifying stages, proving he is on the right track to develop into a world-class footballer.
