Serie A leaders Napoli remain hot on the trail of Barcelona midfielder Denis Suarez, Il Corriere dello Sport can reveal.
The Azzurri have been keeping close tabs on the 24-year-old for two years now and they had several unsuccessful attempts to lure him to Stadio San Paolo.
While they are aware that it will not be easy to persuade Suarez to leave Camp Nou, Napoli officials believe the player will ultimately get tired of warming the bench and will consider joining the Azzurri.
Denis Suarez returned to Barcelona after impressing at Villarreal, but he has since managed just 15 La Liga starts, while making another 22 substitute appearances.
The highly rated footballer spent mere 380 minutes on the pitch in total in the current league campaign and he may consider leaving in the summer.
