Napoli set for summer shopping spree

Il Corriere dello Sport reports that Napoli are following a number of talented footballers with a view of reinforcing the squad in the summer.

The Azzurri have struggled to live up to their potential this term, mostly due to the very thin squad, and club officials plan to address the issue in the summer transfer window.

According to Il Corriere dello Sport, the San Paolo outfit have been linked with a number of talented players from Italy and abroad.

Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon already has an agreement in place for Hajduk Split defender Antonio Milic, who could follow his former teammate Josip Radosevic to Stadio San Paolo.

Racing Club midfielders Ricardo Centurion and Bruno Zuculini are on Napoli’s wish list as well, as is Genoa keeper Mattia Perin.

The Azzurri are also stepping up their efforts to sign Sampdoria striker Simone Zaza, who has just over a year on his contract, but the problem is other Italian giants are also keen on the 22-year-old.
