Serie A leaders Napoli have submitted an official proposal for Monaco striker Balde Diao Keita, according to Radio Monte Carlo.
The Azzurri have been in the market for attacking reinforcement and they decided to make a move on the former Lazio starlet.
Radio Monte Carlo claims that Monaco decided to reject a €45 million proposal from Napoli, having only recruited the Senegalese last summer.
The Principality club turned down a chance to make a quick €15 million profit as they clearly believe Keita could be worth more in the future.
The 22-year-old has enjoyed a bright start to his career in France, having managed 5 goals and 3 assists in 15 Ligue 1 appearances.
