Marseille midfielder Hatem Ben Arfa on Monday pulled out of France’s friendly against Sweden in Gothenburg midweek because of an adductor problem and has been replaced by Arsenal’s Samir Nasri.

“Physically I’m tired, three matches in a week, it’s not easy with a return like that. As well I hurt my adductors,” said Ben Arfa after helping his side to a 4-0 win over Auxerre in French league action on Sunday.

Nasri, 21, gave Arsenal a winning start to the Premier League campaign Sunday as his debut goal clinched a 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion.
