According to the Sunday Times, the French Football Federation are about to propose an exciting tournament that could be run on an annual basis, or at least in the years where there is no major tournament.
It claims that France are likely to invite England, Germany, Italy and Spain to participate in what would be a minor European championships. The tournament would obviously involve the very best in Europe (and England!).
It is an interesting proposal and for those of us that get very bored in the Summer could be an answer to our problems.
