Newcastle United defender Steven Taylor is reportedly ready to turn down a move to Premier League side Everton in the January transfer window.
Everton manager David Moyes is keen on signing the 23-year-old in January and has kept an close eye on the defender this season.
“He is very happy at Newcastle,” said a source to News of the World. “He doesn’t want to leave in the transfer window. He knows about the interest but wants to stay.
“Steven feels a responsibility to get the club back into the Premier League.”
