Competition: Premier League
Market: Alan Pardew next to leave his post
Odds: 2/7 @ William Hill

Following a 4-0 defeat away to Southampton that has now put Newcastle bottom of the Premier League after four games, manager Alan Pardew unsurprisingly finds his job on the line. In his post-match interview he gave a grim assessment of his situation at the club suggesting that owner Mike Ashley will make a change if results don’t improve.

Pardew may not be given more time as Ashley afforded him lucrative funds in the market this summer to sign new players and strengthen the squad. With United performing so poorly so far changes could be made thick and fast as the Toon Army won’t want to succumb to relegation from the top flight again.

Rumours have been suggesting Pardew is fast running out of time to keep his job, with Newcastle having picked up just two points from their first four league outings – a 2-0 home defeat to Man City, a 0-0 away draw to Aston Villa, a 3-3 home draw with Crystal Palace, and the recent 4-0 away defeat to the Saints.

William Hill are giving odds of 2/7 for Pardew to be the next manager to leave his post in the Premier League.
