Nice complete double swoop for Tameze, Makengo

Ligue 1 giants Nice today announced the captures of Jean-Victor Makengo and Adrien Tameze via their official Twitter account.

Following the third-place finish last term, les Aiglons will play in the Champions League play-offs, meaning they don’t have a lot of time to reinforce the squad.

The club officials have worked hard these past few weeks and now presented us the first fruits of their labour.

Nice have now completed the signing of talented midfielder Jean-Victor Makengo from Caen, who had shown a great deal of promise despite his fragile age.

The 18-year-old has so far amassed 27 Ligue 1 appearances, while representing France at various youth levels.

Nice also signed Adrien Tameze from Valenciennes, another promising midfielder who finally gets a chance to play in France’s top flight.
