NK Dinamo Zagreb dropped their first two points of the season, being held to a 2-2 draw at local rivals NK Zagreb on Sunday.

Dinamo had won their first six games of the season and enjoyed a more than comfortable lead over their nearest competitors.

A converted spot kick from Balaban put Dinamo in the lead after 24 minutes, but Parlov returned the favor only eight minutes later.

Mandzukic’ goal in the 52nd minute seemed to have earned Dinamo yet another three points, but the home side got a late equaliser through Pejic in the 84th minute.

Dinamo still have little to worry about, with a six-points advantage over Slaven Koprivnica and Hajduk Split.
