There are no discussions regarding the departure of Werder Bremen attacker Marko Arnautovic, according to the club’s general manager.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from the Weserstadion with clubs in England, Spain and Turkey all credited with an interest.

However, Thomas Eichin has denied any bids have been made and confirmed he is to stay with the Bundesliga side.

“At this point in time we are in no (transfer) talks with any club regarding the future of Marko Arnautovic,” Eichin told Bild.

“Marko Arnautovic is part of the first-team squad and has a contract at our club.”

Since moving to Germany from Inter in 2010, the Austria international has hit 16 goals in all competitions.

Arnautovic has not been without his fair share of disciplinary problems however, being banned from first team affairs at the end of last season following a fight with Sokratis Papastathopoulos.
