Bordeaux coach Laurent Blanc has stated that they have not received any offers for striker Marouanne Chamakh.

The Morroco international, who has made it clear he wants to leave Les Girondins this summer, is a reported Arsenal and Sunderland target.

But Blanc, speaking after Bordeaux’s 1-0 friendly defeat to Toulouse during which Chamakh played 45 minutes, said: “I am reading a lot of things which are surprising me.

“What I can say is that, at this moment, no offer has come to Bordeaux.

“I hope his case will be sorted out before our departure for Montreal (on July 23, when Bordeaux travel to take part in the Trophee des Champions against Guingamp).”

Speculation has been rife that Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has lined up Chamakh as a replacement for Emmanuel Adebayor, who is in talks with Manchester City.
