Roma midfielder Stefano Guberti’s agent insists his client is ‘unsellable’ amid rumours linking him with a move to Atalanta.

Guberti, who played a starring in the Bari side that romped to a historic promotion to Serie A, signed for Roma in the summer

But the 24-year-old has made just three appearances for the Giallorossi, only one coming as a starter.

Antonio Conte, the man who helped Guberti make his name at Bari, is said to be considering making a bid for him in January, initially on loan.

However, Claudio De Nicola, the player’s agent, insists Roma have absolutely no intention of parting with Guberti just yet.

“For Roma, Guberti is unsellable. Actually, he is playing thanks to his desire. He has never given up and has always given his best,” De Nicola told TuttoMercatoWeb.

“At the beginning, the Coach had to get results, and trusted in the old guard, but with time he has begun to respect Guberti.”

Finally, when asked about interest from Bari and Atalanta, De Nicola simply replied: “They appreciate Stefano.”
