Odense are hopeful of ending their Europa League campaign on a positive note at Fulham on Thursday.
Henrik Clausen’s side have just three points from the group stage so far and regardless of their result at Craven Cottage, will be bowing out of the competition.
But the Danish side will not travel to London to make up the numbers as they aim to end Fulham’s chances of qualifying for the next stage.
“To be in the Europa League is a feat, but we must have respect for it,” Clausen said.
“So we will do the best that we can and hope we can achieve excellent results.”
Odense defender Chris Sorenson rejected the suggestion that the match meant nothing to his team.
“Well it’s the last match of the competition and we are looking forward to it very much,” Sorenson said.
“It has been said that the match doesn’t mean very much but that is wrong and we will do the best that we can.”
