Competition: Premier League
Market: Norwich City to stay up
Odds: 1/2 @ William Hill

Norwich City enjoyed a 3-2 win over fellow relegation-threatened Newcastle United on the weekend to move clear of the drop zone as the season comes to a close. The Canaries’ work is far from done, but given their superior form over the bottom-three, they will greatly fancy their chances of survival.

Alex Neil’s side are 17th in the Premier League with 31 points from 32 games this season, and have picked up seven points from nine with just six games remaining. Norwich looked down and out only a few weeks ago, but a recent turnaround now sees them four points clear of the relegation zone.

Sunderland, Newcastle United and Aston Villa are three sides in the drop zone as things stand, and it doesn’t look like it will change. Sunderland perhaps have the best chance, as a win in their game in hand could see them just one point adrift, but Norwich’s recent form is likely to see them pulling away.

As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 1/2 for Norwich City to stay up in the Premier League this season, which would mean the aforementioned trio of established sides would all be destined for the drop.
