Ochoa set to snub Liverpool

Guillermo Ochoa is set to reject a summer move to Premier League leaders Liverpool after revealing a desire to remain in France, according to TalkSport.

The Mexico international is set to be out of contract in the summer when his deal with Ajaccio expires though he could be set to stay in Ligue 1, with a switch to Marseille mooted.

Ochoa has played in all but one of his sides league fixtures so far this season, conceding sixty goals in his thirty-two appearances for Ajaccio who sit bottom of the table, fifteen points from safety with just fifteen left to play for and by far the worst goal difference in the division.

However, those statistics have not stopped interest from a number of top European clubs, with AC Milan also linked with the 28 year old shot-stopper as they look for a long-term replacement for veteran Italy international Christian Abbiati.
