Oldham sign Fuller on short-term deal

Talksport understands that former Stoke City striker Ricardo Fuller has joined Oldham Athletic on a three-month deal.

The thirty-five year old , who was most recently plying his trade with Millwall has been training with the Latics for the last month and manager David Dunn has decided to secure his services.

With over five hundred career appearances to his name, Fuller adds a wealth of experience having scored goals at the top level of English football while he also boasts international pedigree after winning seventy-three caps for Jamaica.

He moved to England with Crystal Palace in 2001, and has since spent time with Preston North End, Portsmouth, Southampton, Stoke, Charlton Athletic, Blackpool and Millwall whilst he has also had loan spells with Heart of Midlothian and Ipswich Town.

Oldham are currently in the relegation zone in League One by virtue of goal difference, and can be backed at 16/5 to beat Sheffield United on Saturday afternoon.
