For some, Christmas has arrived early this year. When Birmingham’s youth player, James McPike, asked his mentor, Kapo, for his shoes after Birmingham’s final game of the season, he was in for a real suprise when he received the keys to Kapo’s £30,000 Mercedes instead.
The French forward had taken the shoes home, so out of pure generosity, he threw the 20-year-old his car keys instead.
Kapo also insisted that he would pay the insurance for a year, so that the youngester could drive it.
Kapo earns an estimated £1.5 million a year.
