Olympiacos have announced the signing of attacking midfielder Vladimir Weiss on a three-year deal.
The 23-year-old’s career to date has included spells in England, Scotland, Spain and Italy, with the Slovakia international now preparing for life in Greece.
Having risen through the ranks at Manchester City, Weiss enjoyed loan stints with Bolton, Espanyol and Rangers, winning the Scottish Premier League and Scottish League Cup with the latter.
Pescara signed Weiss from City in August 2012 and he made 22 appearances in Serie A last season as the club finishing bottom, scoring four goals in the process.
Weiss has been capped 27 times at senior level for his country and joins an Olympiacos side that won the Superleague at a canter last term with a 15-point cushion over second-placed PAOK.
