Orlando City SC have announced the capture of left-back Mohamed El-Munir and midfielder Jose Villarreal as they prepare for the start of the new season.
The Libyan defender joined the club shortly after rescinding his contract with Serbian champions Partizan Belgrade, where he had largely failed to impress.
El-Munir only managed 5 league appearances in 11 months since arriving from Dinamo Minsk, but he now gets a new chance to get his career back on track.
At the same time, Orlando City acquired the services of LA Galaxy midfielder Jose Villarreal in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2019 MLS SuperDraft.
The 24-year-old winger had come through the youth ranks at LA Galaxy and went on to feature in 70 MlS matches.
