Hearts of Oak captain Mahatma Otoo says he is in no rush to leave the Ghana Premier League club.

Speculation has been rife that the 20-year-old is set to leave after recent trials in Turkey, but Otoo has revealed he wants to stay and help his side steer clear of the relegation zone.

“I am in no rush to leave the club,” the striker told Goal.com.

“Things are not going on well and I have to stay as the leader to help get the team back on track.

“There is a transition going on in the team and the fans should exercise a little patience as we will get back to our best very soon.”

Otoo returned from Turkey last week where he underwent trials with a host of clubs.

Hearts of Oak sit in 13th place after 12 games and are just one point clear of the relegation zone.
