Out-of-form Newcastle 9/2 to suffer relegation from the Premier League this season

Newcastle were recently humiliated by Leicester City on the weekend, with the Magpies being trounced 3-0 against the relegation-threatened Foxes, while finishing the game with nine men for their troubles. The result dragged United back into a relegation dogfight, and meant their losing run in the Premier League was extended to a club-record eight games.

Manager John Carver has found his future being speculated about as a result of their losing run games, but looks to be remaining at the helm until the end of the campaign. And with Newcastle now only two points above the drop zone with three games to go, many feel they could be the side going down due to their woeful form in 2015.

Defeats to Manchester United, Everton, Arsenal, Sunderland, Liverpool, Tottenham, Swansea City and Leicester City, but they do have three somewhat favourable games to come – West Bromwich Albion (home), Queens Park Rangers (away), West Ham United (home). However, with poor Newcastle have been against lower league opposition this season, Betfair are giving odds of 9/2 for the Magpies to suffer relegation.
