Over 3.5 goals at Celtic vs Dundee 5/4 for Wednesdays Scottish Premiership matchup

Competition: Scottish Premiership

Market: Over 3.5 goals at Celtic vs Dundee

Odds: 5/4 @ Bet365

As Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side march towards their eighth consecutive Scottish Premiership title, on Wednesday night, the Hoops will welcome Dundee to Celtic Park.

Now just three games away from defending their title, Brendan Rodgers Celtic side still remain firm favorites to complete back to back trebles for the first time in Scottish football history. Already holding a 12-point buffer over rivals Rangers, the Hoops 3-0 win against Ross County last weekend continued their recent fine run of form. Unbeaten in their last five outings and scoring three in their three of their last four matches, forward Moussa Dembele has now scored five in his last seven. Celtic also hold a stellar record against their guests on Wednesday night, the Hoops are unbeaten in their last 32 matches and have won their last six in a row.

As for Neil McCann’s Dundee side, the visitors sit third from bottom in the top flight, which leaves them just four points above the relegation play-off spot. After only avoiding the drop zone by one place last season Dundee head here having lost nine of their 15 away trips this term, and they have won just one of their last seven in the league. Their last away trip saw them lose 1-0 to Aberdeen, and this is likely to be a tougher game with Celtic in fine form. Dundee have also failed to find the back of the net in three of their last four Scottish Premiership outings.
