New Juventus signing Simone Padoin is desperate to win silverware with the Serie A leaders.
The 27-year-old joined Juventus from Atalanta on the final day of the January transfer window, and Padoin is hopeful of winning the first major trophy in his career at his new club.
“Signing for Juventus was a unique opportunity for me. This club always wants to win trophies, and I’m looking forward to playing a role in their strive for success. I have never won a trophy in my career yet,” Padoin said in an interview with Juventus Channel.
“This transfer came as a real surprise to me. I never expected Juventus to try and sign me. As soon as I heard of their interest, I made it clear to Atalanta that I wanted to leave.”
Padoin could make his debut in Sunday’s Serie A game at home against Siena.
