Palermo have completed the signing of Argentine ace Javier Pastore, the club has confirmed in a statement.
The 20-year-old has been nicknamed ‘Argentina’s Kaka’ and is regarded as one of the best youngsters in the world.
The Argentine has been linked with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal and Inter Milan in recent weeks.
The Sun reports that Pastore turned down a £8.8million move to Manchester United last week.
“US Palermo announce they have registered Javier Pastore’s contract with the League,†read a statement on the club website.
“The contract will expire on June 30 2014. The paperwork has been completed for several days, but the official confirmation was only given now out of respect for the player’s commitments.â€Â
