Competition: Copa America
Market: Panama to win against Bolivia
Odds: 10/11 @ William Hill
Panama host Bolivia in their first group game of this summer’s Copa America, and are favourites to come out on top given the woeful form of the visitors. Neither side can afford to drop points as Argentina and Chile are the two other teams in Group D, so Tuesday’s clash is sure to be competitive.
Their meeting is likely to be their only chance of getting points on the board, so Panama and Bolivia will treat the game like a cup final. It’s sure to be a close affair with so much at stake, but Panama will be hoping their better results in recent weeks will see them getting off the mark in the group.
Panama have picked up two wins and a draw from their last five games, while Bolivia have suffered four defeats on the bounce. The underdogs have, in fact, lost five of their last six, and such a run could see them struggle to perform when it matters in the tournament.
As a result, William Hill are giving odds of 10/11 for Panama to win against Bolivia on Tuesday morning. The winner could well see themselves top of the group depending on results.
